Creative Fibres Thick & Thin 2 50 gm balls
8.0mm knitting needles

Tension 9 stitches & 14 rows to 10cm

Cast on 51 stitches
Work 4 rows garter stitch.
Work 11 cm of stocking stitch, beginning with knit row, ending with purl row. Decrease 3 stitches evenly across last row 48 stitches.

Shape crown
1st Row *Knit 2 together, knit 6, repeat from * to end 42 stitches
2nd & following alternate rows purl
3rd Row *Knit 2 together, knit 5, repeat from * to end 36 stitches
5th Row *Knit 2 together, knit 4, repeat from * to end 30 stitches
7th Row *Knit 2 together, knit 3, repeat from * to end 24 stitches
Next row purl


Next row *Knit 2 together, repeat from * to end 12 stitches
Next row *Purl 2 together, repeat from * to end 6 stitches

Break off yarn, thread through remaining stitches & fasten off.

Join back seam using mattress stitch.
